This new Xcel substation at Hiawatha and 28th street looks very different than most thanks to the aluminum mesh to create a fabric-like wrap on the outside

These whales were painted in 2011 on Main St. SE in Minneapolis.  Just down from the Pillsbury A Mill. With all the construction in the area they are no longer visible.
